Deja V.U.*

************************************************

Oh the horror - it's impossible
But I have been this way before

(though it don't seem right...)

Oh tomorrow - well it never comes
Because I've seen all this before

(and yet it's not quite right...)

------------------------------------------------

I don't have the words to say
Possibly some other day
I could tell you then
Maybe tomorrow...

Seasons change but I remain
Even if it seems the same
I'll gladly take the
Suffering and sorrow

And then I'll tell you more,
Maybe tomorrow...

------------------------------------------------

In a heartbeat - everything you thought you knew
Could be turned upside-down

(though it don't seem right...)

When the years stretch towards eternity
You find yourself holding dear to here and now

(oh it's everything...)

************************************************

( *a brief note: we've all experienced deja vu,
the feeling that one has been in a place or had
a specific experience before, although it is
actually new to you...

Scientists have many explanations, all which
discount the possibility of anything paranormal,
which is typical - scientists are very orderly
and want to live in an orderly, explainable
universe. A primary example is the age old
creationist vs. big bang argument - the
creationist asks the big bang theorist where
the materials came from to create the big bang,
and the scientist replies well they were just
there floating around, never realizing that THAT
explanation is in many ways more magical than
the belief of a Creator who needs no
explanation - you either simply believe, or you don't.

In any event, the deliberate misspelling of
Deja V.U. is a play on words, the V.U. being
used in it's scientific sense: Volume Unit.
As you'll notice the song goes from quiet to
QUITE LOUD, and then it does it again - Deja V.U.)
